A Westchester County police officer is facing DWI charges after a crash in Lake George killed his brother.
Authorities say 33-year-old Michael Kilduff of Pawling was riding his motorcycle in a group that included his brother.
The crash happened on Route 9 in the Town of Lake George, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials say 31-year-old Brian Kilduff of Brewster suffered severe injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
Deputies say Michael Kilduff appeared to be intoxicated and refused a chemical test.
He was arrested and later released.
Kilduff is due back in town court at a later date.
Officials say he became a school resource officer at Pequenakonck Elementary School in North Salem earlier this year.
