Public asked to name goral kid born at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo

Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo is asking for the public's help to name its recently born Chinese goral kid.
The baby goral became the first one to be born at the zoo when he arrived in July during a severe storm.
Now that he is a few months old, the baby needs a name.
Animal care specialists at the zoo have selected three names from Chinese language and culture:
Leigong - The Mandarin name for the Chinese god of thunder
Shan - The Mandarin word for mountain
Qilin - A figure in Chinese mythology associated with good fortune, prosperity and peace, sometimes called the “Chinese unicorn."
People can vote for their favorite name until Sept. 15 at 11:59 p.m. The winning name will be announced the following day on the zoo's social media platforms.
