State Police say a routine traffic stop along the Palisades Parkway in Orangetown led them to more than $3,000 in counterfeit bills Tuesday afternoon.
According to troopers, Edgard Duche, Frank Vanegas and Giovanni Echaverry of New York City told them they were on their way to go shopping at the Woodbury Commons outlet center with $3,400 in fake $100 bills.
The three suspects are all facing felony forgery charges, and are now in custody at the Rockland County Jail.
