Police said 42-year-old Onyeka Odunze was fatally stabbed Thursday morning in Claremont. Law enforcement officials arrived at a dialysis center at 3468 Park Ave. shortly after 8 a.m. When they arrived, they found the victim conscious and responsive, with a stab wound in his stomach. He was transported to Lincoln hospital, where he died. Residents told News 12 they are scared to walk around the area. "This area is very dangerous, and we never have police around here. And it's a shame this man got stabbed," said William Claudio, a resident in the area. Police blocked off the area with crime scene tape as they investigated. News 12 obtained surveillance video that shows a fight between two people shortly before police got the call of the stabbing. Police sources say they have an idea of who they're looking for but have not yet released an exact description of the suspect.
