Families of 119 Hudson Valley residents who were killed on Sept. 11 are speaking out against trying the suspected terrorists behind the attacks in Orange County.

Perry Sikorsky, of Monroe, calls Newburgh Mayor Nicholas Valentine's proposal to hold the trials of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his four alleged accomplices at a local courthouse an insult to the memory of his brother, a firefighter who died on 9/11.

"It should be done in a military tribunal," Sikorsky says.

Speaking to News 12, Valentine explained the city has a new courthouse and could benefit financially from the $200 million the federal government is offering for security.
