The victim of an attempted murder in Dutchess County earlier this month has died, according to authorities.

Police say Giuseppe Vassallo stabbed the victim several times on March 3 with a knife in Pawling. He is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder.

Investigators say another suspect, John Sorrel, repeatedly fired a semi-automatic rifle at multiple people.
