The family of a Brewster boy in need of multiple surgeries says it has received an additional $21,000 in donations after money raised at a fundraiser for the surgeries was stolen.
Last month, a fundraiser was held in Connecticut for 9-year-old Aiden Sullivan, who was born with a rare congenital facial disease and without a right ear. There was $8,000 raised there that was later stolen, according to Aiden's family.
The Sullivan family says last week, it was also given a $7,000 check from the Vincent Crotty Foundation after hearing about the stolen money.
