Bronx man charged with murder in fatal stabbing of Manhattan man in Tremont
Police say a Bronx man has been arrested and charged with murder for the fatal stabbing of a Manhattan man on June 2 in Tremont.
Fati Musah Sexton, 29, is accused of attacking Shamel Parnell, 39, during an argument just after midnight outside 1925 Bathgate Ave., steps from a daycare.
Authorities say the Manhattan man suffered stab wounds throughout his body. EMS took Parnell to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he died.
A knife was recovered at the scene, according to police sources.
The NYPD previously released a photo of the person they believed carried out the attack. Less than a week later, authorities provided footage of two people wanted for questioning. Police did not confirm that a second assailant remains at large.
