President George Bush?s upcoming commencement speech at West Point is already being met with protests Tuesday.

Bush is scheduled to speak at the ceremony on May 27. However, protesters say it violates the military academy's rule barring any political speeches on campus. The protesters were thrown out of Army-Navy basketball game in February 2004 for wearing shirts that were anti-Iraq war. The group says allowing Bush to speak at commencement is a double standard.The eight people removed from the basketball game were barred from West Point for five years. The group filed a lawsuit against the academy. West Point officials say federal laws state that military installations are not public forums. They add, it is unlawful to engage in demonstrations, picketing or protests at West Point.
