Two people are in serious condition this morning after the car they were in fell 30 feet down an embankment in Bear Mountain.
It happened just after 10 p.m. Wednesday after the car traveled on Route 9-W.
The highway is apparently a winding stretch and the weather may have played a role in the accident.
No word if speed was a factor.
Stony Point firefighters had to lift the two people out of the car with stokes, baskets and ropes.
