yesterdayThe Town of Carmel Police Department has been awarded two significant federal grants from the U.S. Department of Justice.
The department announced that the grants total $162,000. The first grant will support the implementation of physical and mental health programs for officers. The second grant will assist the department in its efforts to achieve agency accreditation through the New York Division of Criminal Justice Services.
