Today is Good Friday. It's one of the holiest days on the Christian calendar, and fish is on the menu for plenty of people tonight to mark the occasion.
It may be the biggest week of the year for fish vendors across the Hudson Valley. "We're going to be busy we're going to have a line out the door using the ticketing machine."
JJR High Ridge Fishery in Yonkers has been preparing for the Good Friday rush on the last meatless Friday during Lent.
The owners say keeping popular items in stock hasn't been easy. They say the rush was no different for Passover. Popular items include poached salmon, whitefish and yellow pike.
