TROPICS: All is quiet in the Atlantic Ocean for now.
If you are enjoying the more comfortable and cooler air yesterday and today, well, sorry but today is the last day of it! It will feel much more like you'd expect late-June to feel tomorrow.
While it is nice and refreshing feeling still today, clouds win out over any sunshine and there will be a brief light shower chance through the day. That said, most of the daylight hours will be dry.
Have an umbrella tonight and through Saturday! A few scattered showers or an isolated downpour are possible through tomorrow morning. You should not cancel your outdoor plans tomorrow, but just make sure you can easily run to a car or inside a building in case a downpour or thunderstorm pops up where you are in the afternoon and evening. There is a small chance for a thunderstorm with wind gusts over 40 mph tomorrow, primarily in the mid-afternoon through mid-evening hours.
The News 12 app is always a great resource to check! Go to the weather section where you can see the LIVE radar and latest hyperlocal forecast that the News 12 Storm Watch Team will be updating throughout the day for you.
Sunday is the better half of the weekend and much of next week will be warm and dry other than scattered thunderstorms on Tuesday.
Right now, the Fourth of July holiday is still looking great next Friday!
Have a great weekend!
