Police say two men who broke into a Haverstraw house were shot by the homeowner and later arrested.
Julio Urena, 17, was shot in the buttocks and 25-year-old Juan Martinez was shot in the arm after breaking into a Warren Avenue home at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, police say.
Neighbors say the owner of the home, whose name police have not released, has been renovating the Warren Avenue house, but doesn't actually live there full time.
