Westchester County is reporting a small, but consistent, rise in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations.
At last check, there are 251 active cases in the county compared to less than 200 just a week ago.
There are 14 people hospitalized compared to 11 last week, and one death in the last three weeks.
Westchester County Executive George Latimer says there's not major cause for concern yet, but his team is working to determine if those hospitalized have the Delta variant and whether they're vaccinated.
"Everything that medical science is telling us is that the Delta variant is not more severe, it's just more communicable, and the people that are exposed to the communication of this disease are those who are unvaccinated," Latimer says and adds that the primary focus is still on encouraging all residents to get vaccinated.
