An alleged high-ranking member of the Genovese crime family was arrested early Thursday morning after a raid in Ramapo.
Daniel Pagano, 61, was indicted by a grand jury Thursday. The son of late Hudson Valley mob boss Joseph Pagano is facing conspiracy and racketeering charges involving an illegal gambling business.
Michael Palazzolo, 49, was also arrested Thursday. Prosecutors say he is an associate of the Genovese crime family.
Both men will be arraigned at the federal court in Manhattan.
