The body of a Newburgh man who fell into the Hudson River in Newburgh has been recovered.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Maurice Pryce.
Divers from fire departments across Orange County responded to Newburgh's waterfront late Wednesday night after friends say Pryce fell off the docks around 10 p.m.
They say he was walking along the waterfront with friends when he fell in and never resurfaced. Officials say the current was strong due to the recent heavy rains.
The search went until 2 a.m. with no luck finding him. Divers went back into the water at 6 a.m. and found Pryce's body around 9:30 a.m.
