Medical professionals are issuing warnings about staying safe amid Friday’s brutal heat.
Temps could feel like they’re above 100 degrees Friday. And experts say you need to take that number seriously.
"Kids are more prone to that, the elderly and then the people who have chronic illnesses and if they are on certain medications,” sayd Dr. Jay Luthrea, of Urgent Care of Westchester.
Doctors say to keep hydrated and to not leave kids or pets in your car.
SPCA officials will be on high alert Friday, looking for people or animals left in cars.
