Driver, passenger arrested following multivehicle crash into Quickway Diner

Town of Wallkill police say the incident started on the Orange-Sullivan county border, at a neighboring gas station, when a Lexus cut off the truck and caused the crash.

Police say two people were arrested in a crash that shut down a popular diner in Bloomingburg Wednesday.
News 12 viewers sent in photos and videos of an SUV and dump truck crashed into front windows and diner booths at the Quickway Diner in Sullivan County.
Town of Wallkill police say the incident started on the Orange-Sullivan county border at a neighboring gas station, when a Lexus cut off the truck and caused the crash.
They say the driver, Anthony Smalls, of Middletown, had a warrant for his arrest. Smalls and his passenger, Dominique Lomax, of Middletown, were both arrested for leaving the scene and are facing multiple charges, according to police.
Authorities say a diner patron suffered minor injuries.
Diner representatives say an engineer will be brought in and that they’ll reopen when it’s safe.
