An Eastchester High School coach is now officially back on the job after being fired.
The board voted Tuesday night on several personnel matters, including reinstating Fred DiCarlo as head varsity basketball coach for a more than $8,000 stipend.
DiCarlo wasn't at the meeting and there wasn't any specific mention of him.
He was fired last week for allegedly berating kids in the locker room.
An online petition to bring him back got thousands of signatures in just 24 hours.
Superintendent Ronald Valenti sent a letter home to parents Monday saying he recommended the Board offer DiCarlo the position back if the coach accepted certain measures.
Valenti didn't say what those measures are but said the coach has apologized
