Emotions ran high at the New City wake of an Army National Guard officer killed in Iraq last week.
According initial reports by the military, 30-year-old Army Captain Phillip Esposito, of Pearl River, was killed by insurgent forces during a mortar attack in Tikrit last Tuesday. First Lieutenant Louis Allen was also killed in Iraq that night by the same blast. However, questions surrounding the deaths of Esposito and Allen have caused officials to launch a criminal investigation. Esposito?s family say they just want to know the truth
