A woman who was left brain dead after diving into a lake in Sullivan County to save her brother has died, according to family members.

Nasrin Amin, 21, is the third person to die in the tragic incident at White Lake.

Authorities say Amin and her family were vacationing at a lake house when 18-year-old Basir Amin began to struggle in the water. Nasrin Amin and the boy's uncle, Afrid Haider, jumped in to help. All three went under and did not resurface.

Nasrin Amin was on life support for weeks but died Saturday.

The family is still collecting donations through a GoFundMe page.
