A section of Interstate 95 in New Rochelle has reopened after a fatal crash involving a box truck and a tractor-trailer.

State police say the collision happened around midnight on the southbound side of the highway.

One driver was killed, and the other was taken to the hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.

It’s unclear which driver was operating which vehicle.

All southbound lanes were closed as troopers investigated and cleared the scene, with traffic diverted at Exit 16.

All lanes are now open.
