Two Ulster County residents have been charged in connection to the 2022 death of a 14-year-old girl.
The county district attorney's office says the teenager died due to consumption of drugs, alcohol and fentanyl.
Police determined her father, Colin Schlegel, 34, and Kristin Delsanto, 29, contributed to her actions.
The two face charges including manslaughter in the second degree and criminally negligent homicide.
Schlegel and Delsanto were both arraigned in Ulster County court and taken into custody without bail.
