Flames ripped through a yacht club in Stony Point Monday destroying four boats and severely damaging another. Firefighters are not certain what started the blaze at the Minisceongo Yacht Club on Grassy Point Road. Boat owners came down to the club to assess the damage, which is estimated to be hundreds of thousands of dollars. Representatives from the club believe the boat owners all have insurance. Firefighters say if the wind had been any stronger, all the boats docked would have been in danger. An arson team will investigate the cause of the blaze.
