The Ardsley community is mourning the loss of former Fire Chief Joseph Marsek, who passed away Monday at 81.
Marsek dedicated 60 years to the Ardsley Fire Department, serving with distinction and commitment.
He attended Iona College before serving in the U.S. Army in the 1960s. He joined the Ardsley Fire Department after his military service.
Marsek leaves behind his wife and three children.
