A former ?Mrs. New Jersey? was busted for allegedly passing bad checks at an antiques store in Rockland.
The beauty queen, Heather DiCarlo, bought more than $70,000 worth of goods at the ?One of a Find? store in Sloatsburg, police said.
However, investigators said every check DiCarlo wrote bounced. Police were called, and they confiscated all of DiCarlo?s purchases from her house in New Jersey.
DiCarlo posted $25,000 bail shortly after her arrest on Wednesday. She will be arraigned next Tuesday.
