A grand jury has indicted a Newburgh man in connection with the fatal beating of another man at a birthday party with a baseball bat last month. Rodney Bethea, of Newburgh, was indicted on murder charges

A grand jury has indicted a Newburgh man in connection with the fatal beating of another man at a birthday party with a baseball bat last month.
Rodney Bethea, of Newburgh, was indicted on murder charges in connection with the death of Eddie Gordon, 29, who police say was attacked after the fight during on Sylvester Court in Newburgh.
Police arrived at the scene to find Gordon lying in the driveway and bleeding profusely. He later died from his injuries.
Bethea is being held in Orange County Jail without bail.
