After being acquitted of official misconduct last week, the fate of the Greenburgh cop at the center the dominatrix scandal now lies in the hands of the Greenburgh Town Board.

Prosecution began Monday at the Greenburgh Town Hall to decide whether officer Eric Ward will get to stay on the force. The judge of the criminal trial ruled DNA evidence failed to link the former professional dominatrix Gina Anna Noel Pane or Ward to the scene of their alleged sex act. Pane claims she met up with Ward to perform a kinky sex act to get marijuana charges against her dropped.

During the first night of Ward?s administrative hearing, his arresting officer took the stand and went into detail about Pane?s claims. He also spoke about the search of Ward?s home and told the town board his personal computer was missing.

Ward is still maintaining he did nothing wrong. His administrative hearing is expected to continue Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Meanwhile, Pane?s attorneys say Ward will have to face a judge again once they file a federal lawsuit next spring.
