An elderly horse in distress was rescued by fire officials in Patterson. Officials say Dozer, a 31-year-old horse, apparently fell and managed to get himself stuck between a rock and a fence line. Officials needed special equipment to get Dozer back on all fours again. After some much needed fluids and rest, Dozer was able to trot away all on his own.
