Construction along the New York State Thruway in Spring Valley is causing confusion for some drivers.When drivers saw the new E-ZPass lanes being built, they were concerned that another toll plaza was going up in the area. Officials from the Thruway Authority, however, say the lanes are for commercial vehicles only and will not require vehicles to stop. The new overhead barrier will have the capacity to charge E-ZPass accounts while the driver is traveling at 65 miles per hour. Even though passenger cars will not be charged in Spring Valley, the advanced technology will soon be installed at the toll plaza Woodbury.
