A fire this week at a home in the Worley Heights section of South Blooming Grove has been determined to be suspicious, according to Orange County fire investigators.
The home at 1 Treza Lane sustained significant fire damage during the fire Tuesday, as seen in viewer images sent to News 12.
Orange County Fire Coordinator Vini Tankasali said, “Our investigation has indicated that the cause of the South Blooming Grove Fire was incendiary with being suspicious in nature.”
Online county property records show the four-bedroom, two-bath single-family home on 4 acres was purchased by a Brooklyn-based LLC, 7 Timothy LLC, in 2020 for $1,250,000.
Tankasali says the investigation between his department and Blooming Grove police is continuing. News 12 has a call out to the police department for additional information.
