Classes at John Jay Senior High School will resume on Thursday after classes were cut short Wednesday due to a potential threat against the school.
All of the high school's 2,100 students and staff were quickly sent home Wednesday morning after officials found out about the concerning threat.
News 12 was told school officials found out about a threatening anonymous Snapchat post around 8:30 a.m.
While administrators would not go into detail about it, they did say it was not related to a bomb.
Everyone inside the school was dismissed around 11 a.m. as a safety precaution while police got to work to find out who is behind it.
School officials tell News 12 they have identified the individual responsible for the Snapchat post - and so has the East Fishkill Police Department.
