The clock is ticking for some commuters to find an alternative way across the Hudson. The Hoboken PATH station will close tonight at 11:59 for 25 days.
This will be the very last morning commute for PATH Hoboken commuters before the major upgrades. Commuters will see a new look at 5 a.m. on Feb. 25.
The closure is part of a $430 million PATH Forward program to address aging infrastructure. PATH says crews will replace thousands of feet of track and rehab the terminal.
Starting tomorrow, NY Waterway Ferry is increasing its service and offering $3 tickets to PATH customers. Those must be purchased on their app or at the ticket counters.
A free shuttle bus will connect riders to other PATH stations
NJ Transit will increase frequency of the 126 bus or use the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail to connect to other PATH stations. A NJT fare is required for both.
