The New Jersey man convicted of molesting a 7-year-old girl in a Palisades Mall restroom has been sentenced to seven years in prison. Police say Elio Pintado walked into a bathroom in the mall's movie theater in Jan. 2010 with the victim's father and younger brother waiting for her outside. Pintado was caught on a security camera, with a wool cap pulled over his head. Aside from his jail term, Pintado must register as a sex offender and spend 10 years on probation. Last September, he entered a guilty plea on the sexual assault charges, which included additional assault charges for attacking and injuring two corrections officers at a Rockland County jail. Rockland County District Attorney Tom Zugibe says Pintado had been previously sentenced to three years in New Jersey for luring a 9-year-old girl into his car. The incident reportedly happened shortly after the Palisades Mall attack.NJ man indicted for Palisades Mall sex assaultPolice nab suspect in mall sex assault of girl
