A man was shot in the head at a deli in Williamsbridge, authorities say.

The violence erupted at 3724 Bronxwood Ave. just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday and left the man fighting for his life.

It is unclear if shots were fired inside or outside.

Police say EMS took the man to the hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Authorities are searching for a man wearing a black puffer jacket and black pants.
