Police are searching for a man they say struck another man with a glass bottle during a robbery at the Kingsbridge Road subway station.
The robber approached the 59-year-old in the mezzanine area of the station just before 5 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities say he struck the man in the face with the bottle before taking his wallet, containing approximately $100.
EMS took the 59-year-old to NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital, where he is expected to recover.
The suspect ran from the scene and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, black sneakers and a black hat, according to police.
