Maya Gold Foundation to provide free mental health first aid training for Ulster, Dutchess county schools

The course covers common mental health challenges for youth and reviews typical adolescent development. Topics will include anxiety, depression and substance use.

All schools in Ulster and Dutchess counties will now offer free youth metal health first aid training to students, thanks to the Maya Gold Foundation.
The course covers common mental health challenges for youth and reviews typical adolescent development. Topics will include anxiety, depression and substance use.
The in-person courses will be six-hours long and include two hours of pre work.
The training is open to students in grades 10-12.
