The White Plains mayor says that he would rather go to jail than have any of his children testify in his domestic-abuse trial, as previously suggested by prior reports.
Mayor Adam Bradley told his lawyer, Luis Penichet, that he would not have his 5-year-old daughter called as a witness in the case.
Penichet had tried convincing Bradley that having his daughter testify would help his case, but says that while he disagrees with him as a defense attorney, he respects him as a father. Bradley is facing nine domestic abuse charges, all of them filed by his wife Fumiko. The trial is on a break pending the Thanksgiving holiday, and is set to resume Nov. 29.Mayor Bradley's daughter may be witness at domestic-abuse trialWitness: Mayor Bradley's wife has history of lyingProsecution rests in White Plains mayor's domestic-abuse trial
