The medical examiner has officially ruled the death of 37-year-old Jason Ognenoff a homicide.
Ognenoff was found in his home in Pomona stabbed multiple times on Thursday, according to officials.
Investigators say he was found with a sheet covering him and his apartment was apparently set on fire in an attempt to cover up the murder.
Police spent the day hanging flyers around the apartment complex where Ognenoff lived, hoping that the flyer will jog someone's memory and lead to information about the murder.
