National Wholesale Liquidators, which filed for bankruptcy protection in November, is closing its Middletown store.
Workers at the discount retailer say they were told that after the holidays their store will close. The Nanuet and Spring Valley stores are also expected to be shuttered, while the outlet in Yonkers appears to be safe.
The Long Island-based retailer, which opened in 1984, has 17 stores in New York State, including the three closing in Rockland and Orange counties.
