Middletown Police Department is hoping to make it easier to send kids back to school this fall.
The department is running a "Shop with a Cop" program to help children get school supplies for the upcoming school year.
All you have to do is fill out a form to apply for assistance and then the department will reach out to you to let you know you have been selected and to schedule a pickup.
They say they will do their best to fulfill the entire school supply list so providing teacher name/team assignment is important.
The department also says it is accepting donations of school supplies and that their biggest needs right now are binders of all sizes, lined index cards, sticky notes, dividers and sheet protectors.
