A Mount Vernon man says he's filing a complaint after being falsely arrested in 2018.
Gordon Tarrant, 43, says Mount Vernon and Westchester County police knocked on his front door in April of 2018, identifying themselves as "parole probation and pardon services."
He says he was arrested on the spot, even though he wasn't on probation or parole.
Tarrant spent seven hours in jail before appearing in court, facing drug and bail jumping charges.
Tarrant appeared in court approximately 20 times before the charges were dismissed.
He plans to sue for damages based on what he says is a violation of his civil and constitutional rights, as well as physical and emotional pain.
