Multiple people have been arrested after a fight broke out at a Poughkeepsie house.
City police say it happened late Tuesday afternoon when they learned two men were fighting at the house at 28 Corlies Ave. A man tried running away as the officers arrived, but police chased after him and were able to take him into custody. Meanwhile, a second man was trying to climb out a window of the house. He was also arrested.
As police made their way into the house, they found about 17 people inside had warrants from areas like Town and City of Poughkeepsie Police, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, and even Texas. Another person was arrested for having illegal drugs.
