Ndaba Mandela, co-founder and chairman of the "Africa Rising Foundation" and "Mandela Institute for Humanity," made a special visit to schools in Mount Vernon Tuesday.
Mandela was at Dr. Zollicoffer School and Mount Vernon High School.
He was in New York to receive an International Emmy for a series about Nelson Mandela's legacy.
