New Rochelle police say they’ve located the person responsible for making threats to the school district superintendent.

The superintendent says someone issued a threat against him several weeks ago.

The individual then contacted the district again with a direct threat.

That lead to extra police at city schools on Tuesday.

Police officials have yet to release information about that person and why the superintendent was targeted.
