A FDNY member from Orange County played a key role in rescuing residents from a massive apartment fire that killed one person and left 17 others injured in Harlem.
Matt Nolan, of New Windsor, was a part of a major effort to save dozens from the blaze that ripped through the building Friday.
Fire officials say the fire was caused by a lithium-ion battery.
The New Windsor town supervisor released a statement thanking Nolan and the first responders for their actions.
