Newburgh Town police are looking for a person who robbed a gas station Tuesday afternoon.
It occurred around 5 p.m. at the Sunoco located at 78 Route 17-K. Police say the person entered, displayed a weapon and took cash from the register before fleeing.
Evidence, including the weapon used, was later found discarded nearby.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact Newburgh Town Police and Detective Thompson at 845-564-1100.
