A school for at-risk students in Newburgh dedicated new facilities Friday that were donated by the NFL and New York Giants.
San Miguel Academy has an innovative program that helps at-risk students. As of 2014, every graduate has gone on to high school to continue their education. The school was chosen by the Snowflake Foundation to be the recipient of a $160,000 grant.
The Snowflake Foundation was established by the NFL earlier this year during the Super Bowl to assist those in the New York and New Jersey areas.
The new space has a rock climbing wall, volleyball and rowing machines.
