Police say a 30-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the Bronx early Sunday morning.
The incident happened in front of the Last Stop Grill, located at 4609 White Plains Rd. in Wakefield.
They say the stabbing occurred after a verbal argument between the suspect and the victim, who has not yet been named.
The victim was pronounced dead at Montefiore Medical Center.
Residents in the area tell News 12 that the restaurant and bar often attract a rowdy crowd, and they have heard of frequent fights outside.
"They get some shady characters in there," said one person.
The suspect took off in an unidentified vehicle, according to police. Police say no arrests have been made.
The owner of the Last Stop Grill declined to go on News 12's camera, but he claimed that the incident did not have anything to do with his business and it closed at 2:30 a.m.
